Church Purpose

       The purpose of this Congregation is to be a local manifestation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada in the Luray, Virginia, area, seeking to understand and follow God‘s will made known to us in Jesus Christ in order that we might increase the love of God and of neighbor among ourselves, in our community, and among all humanity.

Mission

The Congregation’s mission is to fulfill our purpose by worshiping and working together to claim God’s gifts for ourselves and share them with others through Christ-like responses including but not limited to local and global outreach projects and financial support of the mission activities of the wider Church.
